Vernon, is a seasoned entrepreneur. Having left school at the age of fifteen to begin working as a Milkman. A few short years later Vern convinced that he could do more with his life, went on to help co-found his first business with his father, an earthmoving company at the age of seventeen. After five years of running the business. Vern had turned the humble earthmoving business into one of the largest privately owned and operated earthmoving businesses in his home state of Victoria, Australia. Having been successful in this business, Vern then began to set his sights into branching out, into other industries.
In 2006, Vern was approached by some family and friends to see if he would like to invest into an Outdoor Media company to be launched here in Australia. This venture would use cutting edge technology for the time. After some investigation into the market for such a product, Vern decided to invest. This venture became known as PumpTV. After three years of Research & Development, Vern and the companies five other shareholders (mostly considering of family and friends), were then finally ready to launch in the Australian Summer of 2009. With their first clients being that of then Coles Group that operates under Westfarmers Australia. By 2011 PumpTV’s network had grown to over 150 Service Stations. Operating in all major cities across Australia. Becoming the largest privately owned and operated petroleum focused media group.
In 2012 PumpTV Australia & NZ was sold to the Val Morgan Cinema Network Group, Australia’s largest cinema advertising media company. Thus in late 2013 Adverto Outdoor Media was founded, in order to develop a new product range designed for the overseas marketplace. With the primarily to focus on designing to meet the needs of the European and Asian markets. In the same time Adverto’s R & D department has also focused on redesigning their media topper to better suit all weather conditions around the Globe. Vernon aim is to launch Adverto Outdoor Media into a global platform staring with Dubai as the launch pad in January 2018.
